Eligibility Criteria

Canadian Universities without IELTS

    The following is a list of some of the universities that will allow you to apply for a course without the requirement for IELTS scores:
    • University of Winnipeg: IELTS certification credentials are not necessary for the University of Winnipeg and it is mandatory to produce proof of the English language. You can avail of other alternatives in the university itself.
    • Brock University: IELTS will help you get admission into this institute but it is not a compulsion. They also accept TOEFL and Intensive English Language Program, specifically designed to help international students increase their proficiency in the English language. Your last three years of study in English with decent grades are also valid here.
    • University of Saskatchewan: The University of Saskatchewan accepts TOEFL as an alternative to the IELTS exam. They also allow candidates to take the can-TEST which is a Canadian Test of English for scholars and trainees from other countries. This university’s English Language Training program is also a good option.
    • Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador:This university offers students alternatives to IELTS scores like TOEFL,can-TEST, and Canadian academic English language and it is one of the top-ranked universities in Canada.
    • Cambrian College: This institute focuses on research and employment opportunities for the students. IELTS and TOEFL are not required for admission. International students can continue their studies with other universities in Canada.
